(Al-Hajj) 22 : 48
وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
And for how many from cities did I prolong enjoyment while it inhabitants were wrongdoers. Then I seized it, and unto Me is you all are returning.
It is told in verses 43: 33-35: “were it not that all mankind might become one community, surely We would have provided for the one who denies the Impartial, hoofs for their houses, staircases, doors and the coats for leaning made with silver and gem; everything is nothing but enjoyment in this world, while the Hereafter is for the heedful near Lord Allah”.
